Hey Hollywooders! What’s good in ‘wood’?

I have just returned after watching the biopic, dream horse, one of the many new films to be released in theatres.

I took a look at theaters near me to compare movie showtimes and agreed to go to movie showtimes at 5:20 p.m. at the Landmark Ritz Theater Theater near me. I want to start by saying that I had a full-fledged movie theater. There’s usually at least one other person, but not this time, I felt like I was the only person for miles. So I put my feet up, ate my popcorn, and prepared myself for the emotional journey that was dream horse.

We are all familiar with movies about horse racing, we know them and we love them. Movies like these shed tears, and this film was no different. dream horse A quintessential horse racing movie with a little twist. Instead of focusing on the horse and rider, the film focuses on the actual owners of the horse.

Jan Vox (toni collette) is a Welsh woman working as a cashier and just going through the motions of life. When Jan overhears the conversation in a bar, she decides she’s going to breed a racehorse and get back the spark she was missing. She seeks help from the community to embark on the adventure of a lifetime. Howard (Damien Lewis), Philip (Nicholas Farrell), Brian (Owen Mounds) and others in this small town pitch in for a little money every week. Their efforts lead to a racehorse, the Dream Alliance, affectionately named by Jan Woakes (toni collette)

The Dream Alliance moves to remove obstacles and rise through the ranks of the racing world to restore hope to an entire community.

The movie is a good, heartwarming underdog story, and you can’t help but fall in love with all the characters, especially the Dream Alliance. The characters were based on real people, so making a cute “Motley Crue” wasn’t hard.

toni collette As always, Jaan is contained in his performance, and the chemistry between him and his poses in the film is undeniable. In an interview with ABC Chicago, toni collette talked about how proud she was to play the role of Jan Vox:
